They wanted to showcase what this new group can do for its internal stakeholders. They also wanted to use the communications effort to crystalize their objective and strategy so that the management team could lead with clear strategic imperatives to provide the best services to internal stakeholders. A piece of cake, right? In general, there are some similarities and differences between creating an external communications plan and an internal communications plan. The similarity: they follow the same methodology. The difference: the deliverables are different.
